Christ-centered education for refugees

Restoring dignity through education

We equip Eritrean refugees in East Africa with learning, vocational skills, and trauma-informed care so they can heal, thrive, and lead.

Our mission

Breaking cycles of poverty and trauma

ByGrace exists to restore dignity, opportunity, and hope to refugee communities by addressing the root causes of displacement through holistic, Christ-centered education. We believe that access to education is not only a basic right but a powerful tool to break cycles of poverty, trauma, and marginalization.

We address the deep gap in education that many refugees face—both from past disruptions and their current realities. Through tailored learning programs, vocational training, and mental health support, we empower refugees to heal, thrive, and become agents of change in their communities and beyond.

Education

Tailored learning programs and computer literacy that close the gaps left by displacement.

Vocational Training

Practical, income-generating skills like woodworking and accounting for long-term independence.

Mental Health

Trauma-informed counseling for young adults carrying the weight of displacement.

Current project

A self-sustaining learning community in Addis Ababa

This self-sustaining model requires an initial investment of $25,000. The income generated from the business will cover all future expenses of the learning center, counseling department, and vocational training programs.
