A safe place to learn after school
We rented a hall, connected it to the internet, and opened an after-school learning center for refugee students, modeled on the YMCA: a safe place to study, gather, and grow.
- Rented a hall as a dedicated after-school space
- Paid for internet service so students can study and do research
- Bought computers, laptops, cameras, and video cameras
- Started a checkout program so students without devices can borrow them
